Of the many hundreds of different types of termites, the most common to attack wood structures in Victoria are Coptotermes, Coptotermes Frenchi, Nasutitermes, Porotermes adamsoni and Schedorhinotermes.

Once the correct species has been identified (this is achieved through the close, knowledgeable examination of the Soldier termite) the targeted plan can be put into action.
